Honouring the past with new visions of the future

adidas Originals and Foot Locker approached Futurimpose to re-launch their archive basketball model, FORUM, through a multi-format campaign across four European cities: Barcelona, London, Paris and Milan.

FORUM has always been about honouring the past for new visions of the future; connected and rooted. Futurimpose didn’t need to manufacture a storyline to make a claim in the basketball space - adidas has always been integral to it, it’s just that the impact has been on the streets.

So that’s where we went; direct to the source, highlighting the communities, the stories and the people courtside.

COURTSIDE'S WHERE IT'S AT: PEOPLE DON'T LOOK ON PASSIVELY AT THE ACTION; THEY ARE THE ACTION.

For an audience that so seamlessly engages with multi-format platforms, it made most sense for our output to do the same. FORUM amplified the energy of today’s most radical communities with a video lookbook in each city capturing local pioneering creatives in their local areas, city-specific stills lookbook and digital activations for the crews to showcase exactly what they do best.

Paris: Luv Resval, JDID Club, Caméléones

Our FORUM campaign crash landed in Paris for a finale: a multidimensional hub of expression created by Paris’ finest creatives, including an intimate performance by Luv Resval.
